1. What does the grams per square meter mean for personalised towels?
The feel and perceived quality of a promotional towel is often derived from it’s softness. However, that is not the whole story. The weight is often far more important because it shows how much fabric is used. The more grams per square meter, the more cotton is used and therefor the printed towel becomes thicker and more dense. More fabric usually lasts longer and will stay soft even after many washes compared to a lighter towel. However, it’s also very important to keep the use of the towel with imprint in mind. A beach towel is often a lot less dense than a promotional towel used in a hotel.2. Are the custom towels made sustainably?
The number of sustainable printed towels is growing all the time. By filtering on ‘sustainable’ you will easily see all the branded towels that we currently carry in our assortment so you can make a green choice in promoting your brand.3. How many times can you wash branded towels?
That depends on many things such as the use of the towels, how they are decorated, how hot they are washed and if they go into the dryer or not. To get the longest use out of a printed towel, we recommend washing it at a low temperature if possible. Drying it in the dryer causes a bit more wear over time for both the towel and the print, so if possible, just hang it out to dry. Lastly we recommend using laundry detergent that is as gentle as possible and doesn’t contain chemicals such as bleach and fabric softener can cause soap leftovers to stay behind causing the personalised towels to lose some of their absorption ability.4. What’s the most suited printing option for personalised hand towels?
By far the most durable ‘print’ is an embroidered logo or text. This is almost always a possibility and it gives a more luxurious finish. Especially so when your order towels with individual names printed on them. Screen printing is also an option but it’s more limited in where it can be applied and how often it can be washed.5. What does OEKO-TEX mean for printed promotional towels?
